Terms of Service
Last updated: July 5, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Bank-See, a financial-literacy education web app operated by Skylark Creations LLC ("Bank-See," "we," "us," or "our"). By using Bank-See, you agree to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian should review these Terms with you.
If you are a parent or legal guardian and you allow your child to use Bank-See, you agree to these Terms on your child's behalf and are responsible for your child's use of Bank-See.
1. What Bank-See is
Bank-See is an educational web app that helps teenagers learn money concepts through short lessons and quizzes. Topics may include saving, earning money, avoiding scams, investing, crypto, taxes, and how the financial system works.
Bank-See is not a bank, broker, investment adviser, tax preparer, lender, money transmitter, payment processor, or financial institution. Bank-See does not hold, move, store, or transmit money. Bank-See does not connect to bank accounts, cards, payment instruments, or financial accounts. Bank-See is free to use and does not currently include paid tiers, subscriptions, in-app purchases, advertisements, affiliate links, or commerce.
2. Eligibility and parent or guardian consent
Bank-See is designed for teenagers ages 13 through 18. You may not use Bank-See if you are under 13.
If you are 13 through 17, you may use Bank-See only if your parent or legal guardian allows you to use it and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
If you are 18, you may use Bank-See for your own educational use.
Bank-See is intended for use in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, do not use Bank-See unless we have confirmed in writing that Bank-See is available in your location.
3. Educational content only — not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice
Bank-See provides general educational content. It does not provide personalized financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice, or professional advice of any kind.
Bank-See does not know your personal finances, income, expenses, debts, taxes, goals, risk tolerance, family situation, or other facts that a professional would need to give individualized advice. You should not make financial, investment, tax, legal, or other important decisions based only on Bank-See content.
For decisions involving money, investing, taxes, debt, financial products, scams, or legal rights, talk with a trusted adult and, when appropriate, a qualified professional.
4. AI-generated content and accuracy limits
Bank-See lessons and quizzes may be generated by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, or misleading. We work to make Bank-See useful and age-appropriate, but we do not promise that every lesson, quiz, answer, explanation, recommendation, or example will be correct or current.
You are responsible for using judgment and checking important information. Do not rely on Bank-See as your only source for decisions that could affect your money, taxes, legal rights, education, safety, or wellbeing.
5. No account, password, or login
Bank-See does not currently use email accounts, passwords, usernames, or login credentials. Your progress is connected to a random browser cookie. If you clear your cookies, use a different browser, use a different device, or use private-browsing mode, Bank-See may not be able to recognize you or restore your progress.
Because Bank-See does not collect an email address or real-world identity, we may not be able to verify, recover, export, or delete a specific record unless you still have the relevant browser cookie or provide information that lets us reasonably identify the record.
6. Information you provide
You may provide information such as your age, topic interests, optional display name, optional grade, optional self-assessment, and quiz answers. Your display name should be a made-up name, not your real legal name. Do not enter personal information that Bank-See does not ask for, such as your full name, address, phone number, email address, school name, bank details, card numbers, government IDs, photos, biometric information, or other sensitive information.
You give us permission to use the information you provide as needed to operate, maintain, improve, secure, and provide Bank-See, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Bank-See. For example, you must not:
- break or bypass any security, rate-limit, access-control, age, or consent feature;
- use bots, scripts, scrapers, or automated tools to access Bank-See without our written permission;
- interfere with Bank-See or its servers, networks, databases, or service providers;
- submit malicious code, abusive traffic, or false information intended to harm Bank-See or others;
- reverse engineer, copy, resell, or commercially exploit Bank-See except as allowed by law;
- use Bank-See for illegal, harmful, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes; or
- encourage another person to violate these Terms.
8. Ownership and license
Bank-See, including its design, software, lessons, quizzes, text, graphics, badges, XP systems, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Bank-See for your own non-commercial educational purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, publicly display, or create derivative works from Bank-See except as allowed by these Terms or by law.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, or comments, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you.
9. Third-party services
Bank-See uses third-party service providers to help operate the app. These may include database hosting, AI content generation, analytics, and web hosting providers. Your use of Bank-See may involve processing by these providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, or materials that we do not control, even if Bank-See links to them.
10. Changes to Bank-See
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Bank-See at any time. Because Bank-See is an early-stage educational product, features may change, break, or disappear.
If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date.
11. Termination
We may block, suspend, or terminate access to Bank-See if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for Bank-See or others, or used Bank-See in a way that could harm the service.
You may stop using Bank-See at any time. You may also clear your browser cookies, but doing so may permanently disconnect you from your saved progress.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bank-See is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that Bank-See will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, accurate, complete, current, or available at any particular time or location. We do not promise that Bank-See content will meet your needs or expectations.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these disclaimers may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bank-See and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, service interruption, or other intangible losses arising from or relating to Bank-See or these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to Bank-See or these Terms will be limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us to use Bank-See in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or rights you may have under consumer-protection laws.
14. Indemnity
If you are an adult user, parent, or legal guardian, you agree to defend and indemnify Bank-See from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your or your child's misuse of Bank-See, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights. This section does not apply to minors except to the extent permitted by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local law requires otherwise.
Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us at hello@skylarkcreations.com and give us a reasonable chance to resolve the issue informally. If we cannot resolve the issue informally, the state or federal courts located in Colorado will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
16. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information. By using Bank-See, you acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
